Born out of interest and an electric engineering background a company called H M Heating was started, Continuous Professional Development lead us further to installing Heat Pumps, moving forward into Solar Hot water for swimming pools and hot water for properties.
As the interest grew in renewable energy both from us and the Public we explored and developed relationships with Solar Electric companies in Europe to supply and support the equipment range that would be needed for the Futura of the business.
We changed the Company name to Cómpeta Solar as it was a better name for what the company was evolving into, which is a Local company providing solutions for the modern household.
The first installations of Solar Electric equipment were to the Off-Grid market as at the time Spain had a restriction on installing Solar Electric to properties that were connected to the Grid owned by the public.
In 2017 and 2018 Spain relaxed these restrictions due to common sense and pressure from the EU, climate change fears were filling the headlines and other countries were taking a bigger stance in renewable energy.
In the same way as other forms of energy savings that you make to your home (like double glazed windows) it is down to you to act.
